Why Your Website Isn't Attracting Nutrition Clients (& How to Fix It)
Are you a nutrition coach struggling to attract clients? A strong website is crucial for converting social media followers into clients. Don't make these mistakes on your website! Discover key strategies to optimize your site, engage visitors, and boost your Google search rankings.
Happy 2-Tips Tuesday!
Here are two ideas to consider this week.
By Jennifer Broxterman, RD
1. How to Improve Your Nutrition Website
A common challenge I see: many nutrition coaches either don’t have a website or have one that isn’t pulling its weight. If you’re trying to move clients off social media and into your world, a strong website is essential! One of the top ways new clients find you is through Google.
Here’s a simple exercise to improve your website’s effectiveness, whether you’re a solo coach, own a gym, or are just starting out.
How to Audit Your Landing Page:
Print it out (or paste it into a Google doc) and use these color codes to highlight different sections:
🔴 RED = The customer's problem
🟣 PURPLE = Your product as the solution
🟤 BROWN = A 3- or 4-step plan for them to follow
🟡 YELLOW = The negative consequences you help them avoid
🔵 BLUE = The positive result they’ll experience
🟢 GREEN = Your clear call to action
Once highlighted, step back and ask:
- Are all the colors represented?
- What’s missing or could be improved?
This simple audit can transform how your website speaks to potential clients.
2. Catch Me Live on a Podcast Today!
Coach Catalyst - Build w/ the CEO
Today, I’ll be joining Trevor Wittwer on his Build w/ the CEO podcast to discuss Greg Glassman’s latest project, MetFix. It’s a bold initiative, claiming that everyone—even elite athletes—should be on a low-carb diet. We’ll also talk about Glassman’s belief that people 'just need more information' to change their habits.
Is this approach too extreme? Trevor and I have some thoughts, but I’d love to hear yours, too!
