Happy 2-Tips Tuesday!
Here are two ideas to consider this week.

1. The Japanese Word for Lonely Mouth
Did you know that the Japanese have a special word for eating for non-hunger reasons that translates to “lonely mouth”? That word is: kuchisabishii.
Here’s the thing. If you simply ask people to count calories or follow restrictive meal plans, you’ll miss the opportunity to discuss the bigger picture of their lives and how behavior change really works.
Great coaches help clients get curious about their relationship with food. Do they eat when they are:
• bored or anxious?
• lonely or sad?
• stressed?
• on auto-pilot?
What’s going on emotionally to cause that feeling of “lonely mouth”? Try using this Japanese word as a conversation starter about mindful eating.
2. I Laughed Way Too Hard At This 😂
Have we checked all food to see if exploding them makes them into something better, or did we just stop with corn?
