Never Lose Again

Happy 2-Tips Tuesday!

Here are two ideas to consider this week.

1. Never Lose Again

“I never lose. I either win or I learn.”

– Nelson Mandela

There are a few different ways I teach this concept to my nutrition clients. I also love the saying,

“There’s no such thing as failure. Only feedback.”

One of the habits of successful people is that they break themselves free from the trap of perfectionist thinking and the pressure of perfect behavior at all times.

Even in Major League Baseball, a season batting average higher than .300 is considered to be excellent, and an average higher than .400 is a nearly unachievable goal. Check out the current stats of the best MLB players right now.

So when you step up to the plate with your next meal, or workout, or wind down bedtime routine, aim for excellence, but even if you strike out, you either win, or you learn.

2. See You at the SuperCoach Summit?

This Saturday, August 24, I’m heading to the Coach Catalyst SuperCoach Summit to step on stage as a presenter. If you’re attending this weekend, come say hi!

I’ve been pouring my heart into sharing the key elements on how to be a successful nutrition or fitness coach in an increasingly competitive, over-saturated market by focusing on 3 key advantages:

Advantage 1: Motivational Interviewing

My team and I ask powerful questions and use motivational interviewing to guide our clients towards the outcomes they want. [SuperCoach Summit attendees will get my cheatsheet of questions for free!]

Advantage 2: Games

We incorporate more fun nutrition coaching games and storytelling to keep our clients engaged vs. the standard ‘track your calories or macros’ approach. And oh boy, does it make a difference taking a ‘gamified’ approach to nutrition coaching. :)

Advantage 3: Systems

Our customer journey is ridiculously organized, ensuring a consistent, exceptional experience from start to finish. I’ll be sharing with the audience some of my most successful ‘surprise and delight’ elements along the customer journey that have earned us rave reviews and strong word-of-mouth referrals in our community.

I can’t wait to share all of this with you at the SuperCoach Summit, and I hope to see many of you PRO$PER Kind Nerds there!
